Alright. Well, I hope everyone has been in the will of God this past week and has stayed the path that the Lord wants you to be on. Now I say that and I have everybody marked on Proverbs 426 to start off this morning or this afternoon. Proverbs 426 I teach verse by verse, but when I'm studying and God puts something on my mind, I think, well, I better go with that. So we're going to start off at Proverbs 426 this morning. And he says, ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established. Turn not to the right hand nor to the left. Remove thy foot from evil. Those words are not only for the congregation, but for the preacher too, and all that will hear. And there's our key for all that will hear. For many years I lived my life without pondering the path that I allowed my feet to take me. I walk the path of evil as do so many, but that road of evil has a U-turn installed by our Heavenly Father called the Gospel of Christ. that was shown to me by him and upon belief in the death of Christ for all those sins I committed while walking that road of evil, I have been forgiven and shown a new way to think. Act and walk and talk, and I do not want to turn to the right hand or to the left hand of that road But stay the path that our Heavenly Father wants me on, because that road leads to Him. And that is where Brother Doug wants to end up after my road comes to its end. And I pray that each and every one of you are on the road that our Lord wants you to be on. In verse 15 and 16 of the book of Jude, which we have been going through, the book of Jude. Jude has been telling us about the ungodly who choose to walk their own path and not remove their foot from evil, but walk after their own fleshly lusts Which are of the devil. Let's pray, Heavenly Father. We thank you so much, Lord, for this wonderful day that you blessed us with. To come here, Lord, and to share your word, Father. And we pray, Lord, that your Spirit will just teach us here today, Lord, that you will just speak through me what you want to say, Father. We pray, Lord, that each and every ear here is attentive today. And Lord, we pray that they hear your word, Father. We thank you and we love you so much, Lord. And in Jesus' name we pray, Lord. Amen. Amen. Jesus said in John 8, 41 through 47, and I've got y'all marked there. John, eight forty-one. 841 got this works good good John 841 verse 47 Jesus says ye do the deeds of your Father he's addressing some unbelieving Jews that were accused of him He says, Ye do the deeds of your fathers. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication. We have one father, even God. Unbelieving Jews. We're making fun or trying to make fun of Jesus being born from a virgin. They wanted to say that he was born in fornication. Which is not true. His Father was the Holy Spirit. Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me. For I proceeded forth and came from God. Neither came I of myself, but he sent me. Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lust of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own, for he is a liar and the father of it. And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. Which of you convinces me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me? He that is of God heareth God's words. Ye therefore hear them not because ye are not of God. Jesus said in John 10, 27, My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. The ungodly choose not to hear God's words. They choose to ignore and deny Christ as their Savior and just continue down the opposite path away from Him. Jesus said in Matthew 10, 33, But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. As we read back in verse 14 and the beginning of verse 15 here in the book of Jude. 14 and 15 in the book of Jude. And Enoch also the servant, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints. Why, to execute judgment upon all. And to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against them. When our Lord returns, all shall be judged. The ones who have denied Christ as their Savior shall be punished The ungodly have denied Christ as their Savior. Therefore, he will deny them as saved, and they shall go before the great white throne of God to be sinners. Revelation 20, 11, John says, And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away, and there was no place for them. Why is that? Because God said he's going to make a new heaven and a new earth. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God, and the books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them, and they were judged, every man, according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. Those folks folks those that have not put their faith in Christ have not believed in Christ. They are judged on their works It's not your work, folks. It's faith in Christ. They're being judged on what they did, not on what Christ did. Revelation 20, 15 says, and whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Last week we looked at the word beloved in verse 17 in the book of Jude and we learned that it means dearly or well loved. The total opposite of the word ungodly. For God is love, and without love, you are not godly. You are ungodly. When addressing the church of Sardis in the book of the Revelation, Jesus said in Revelation chapter 3, verses 3 through 6, Remember, therefore, how thou hast received and heard. And hold fast and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. Thou hast a few names even in Sardis, which have not defiled their garments, and they shall walk with me in white, for they are worthy. You can't walk with Jesus if you are going the opposite way. Revelation 3:5, he that overcometh The same shall be clothed in white raiment, and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father and before his angels. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. The beloved are those who have listened when God has called them. Those who have heard and believed. Romans 10. 13, and we got y'all marked very much. Next tab will be Romans 10. 13. Romans 10. 13, you got this word? Romans 10, 13. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. It's amazing to me how well God listens to us, but we don't listen to God. Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. God is listening for your call, folks, and he will answer you. But there's so many people that hear about Jesus and won't listen and they won't pay attention. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach except they be sent? The false teachers that Judah has been telling us about were not sent of God. Therefore, they're not telling people about Jesus Christ. How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace and bring glad tidings of good things. Jesus Christ went to the cross. He died on that cross in order to pay your sin debt. After he died on that cross, he went to a tomb and he laid in that tomb for three days. He rose up from death after the third day and he came out of that tomb, Father That is the gospel of Jesus Christ, and he went through every bit of that for you. But they have not all obeyed the gospel. The word obeyed used here means to listen attentively or to heed. A lot of people just let that go right by. Right over the head. Jesus Christ died for your sins. He went to the cross to pay your sin debt so you don't have to pay the sin debt that you owe. Amen. Christ died for you. And I can tell people that this goes right over the head. Why? Because they're not obeying the gospel. They're not listening attentively. They are not heeding. If you do not put your faith in Christ, folks, you have to pay the penalty for your sins. Christ paid it for you. Why not believe on Christ? You don't have to pay the syndebt that's already been paid for. But if you don't heed what I'm telling you If you don't eat God's word, that's not me making all of this up, folks. That is God telling us. That is God's word. If you do not heed, you will be judged, where you will be found guilty because your sin debt is still owed, because you have not believed in the one who had paid it for you. But they had not all obeyed the gospel, for Isaiah saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? So then, faith cometh by hearing and hearing By the Word of God. That's right, brother. By the Word of God. Hearing comes from the Word of God. Only God can open up your ears to hear His word and to believe His truth. God's word points you to the gospel of Christ. When you agree with God that Christ died for your sins, God opens up those spiritual ears of your unbelieving heart to hear Him. believe on his son. It's by God's word that we learn of God and he wants to call you beloved. If you will call on him, God will hear. Psalms 145:18 through 20, and we'll close with this. The Lord is nigh, that means near. The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon Him. To all that call upon him in truth. God knows. If you're calling upon him in truth, if you truly want to be saved, if you truly want to repent from your sins and know Jesus Christ is your Savior. Call on God in truth. And like I told you earlier, God is always willing to hear and he will hear. He will hear you if you want to know Jesus Christ as your Savior. He will fulfill the desire of them that fear him. He will hear their cry and will save them God's word says that not brother does That is a promise from our Lord, folks. God cannot lie. God tells you the truth. Unlike mankind, God will tell you the truth. He always has, he always will, he cannot go back on his promises. He will fulfill the desire of them that fear him. Do you desire to be saved? Do you want to be saved? Do you want to know Jesus Christ as your Savior? He will fulfill that desire and he will open up your ears to hear. He will hear their cry and will save them. So many people refuse to hear God, but God will hear anyone who calls on him. Last verse. The Lord preserveth all them that love him, but all the wicked will he destroy. Folks, you don't have to die and be punished. One thing is for sure, we are all going to shed this whole flesh. But where your soul ends up, that's your choice. God has given us a choice. Where do you want your soul to end up? Think about that. I see people smiling and I see people not. If you're the ones not smiling, please think about where your soul is going to end. You are a soul, folks. You have a body. And this old fleshly body is going to return back to the dirt someday, folks. That soul is going to live forever. Where it's going to live is your choice. Believe ye on the Lord Jesus Christ will be ye saved. Heavenly Father, we thank you so much, Lord, for this wonderful word that you blessed us with to share here today, Father. And Lord, we want to pray for those who don't know Christ as their Savior, Lord. And we pray, Lord, that We pray, Lord, that they will point it to you, Father. We pray, Lord, that they will point it to your word. And we pray, Lord, that they would seek you first, Lord. That they would come to you, Lord, with repentance in their heart, Lord. Wanting forgiveness for their sins, Father. wanting to live with you forever, Lord, and be forgiven. Father, we pray, Lord, that you would just prick the hardened hearts here, Lord, that's here today, Lord, and just drawn to you by asking. For we know by grace are we saved through faith, Father. It's your grace, Lord. And through your grace, you bless us with the faith that we need, Lord. We pray that they'll seek you, Father. We thank you so much, Lord, for all that you do. We thank you for your word. We thank you for Jesus, and we thank you for your Holy Spirit, Father. We pray, Lord, for the caregivers that are here today, Lord, the ones that are here at this facility, Lord, that they would care for these people, Lord, like you want to be cared for, Lord. We pray that you'll let each and every person here, Lord, know that you're with them here, Lord, that you're here today, Father. Where two or more are gathered in your name, you are there also, Lord. And we just pray, Lord, that you would just let these people know that you're here. We thank you, Father, and we love you, Lord. We thank you so much for all that you do, Lord. For all you do is good, Father. Thank you, Lord, and in Jesus' name we pray, Lord. Amen.
