Well, I just about made you tear up. What a blessing. What a blessing it is to see everybody here today. You are in such an encouragement. What an encouragement. Man. We sure thank you for leading that. That was fantastic. Alright. It's a blessing to see everybody here. What a... I can't say that enough. What a... What a warm thank you Lord for this day. If we get tear up, just hang in there with me. Alright. We've been making our way to the Book of Jude. We've been studying verse by verse. I believe that that is the best way to learn your Bible is to go verse by verse. So we go verse by verse when we're studying our Bibles. And I'd like to say, "Ma'am, if you don't have a Bible, just let us know and we will get you one next week." But I'll make that offer to anybody that comes. We have... We are blessed to be able to supply Bibles. We're blessed with that. And you can ask people in here. If they ask for a Bible, we can get them one. So we do our best to do that. Thank you Lord for that blessing. So we have made it to verse 10 so far in the Book of Jude where we have been studying the word "speak." Verse 10 in the Book of Jude says, "But these speak evil of those things which they know not, but what they know naturally as brute beasts. In those things they corrupt themselves." Now so far we have been studying in the Book of Jude. There's two types of people, folks. There's godly people and there's ungodly people. Jude has been warning his brethren, and if you know Jesus Christ as your Savior, you are one of Jude's brethren. Jude has been warning us about ungodly people that have come into the congregation and they have been led to stay around a little longer than they should have. And they have been saying things that they shouldn't be doing. They speak evil of those things which they know not. So last week we saw last week how God had called Moses to lead the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt, living in a world of slavery to Pharaoh. Now this is a picture of us living in our sins, folks. The children of Israel cannot save themselves from life, from a life of bondage, just as you and I can't save ourselves from our sins. They were born slaves to the Pharaoh. We are born slaves to sin. They needed a Savior to rescue them just as you and I do. When God told Moses to go tell Pharaoh to let my people go, Moses told God that he wasn't an eloquent speaker. That word eloquent means having the power of expressing strong emotions in a vivid and appropriate manner. So let's look back at Exodus chapter 4 and we're going to look at verses 10 through 16 and we're going to see where God was telling Moses about going to talk to the children of Israel, about releasing the children of Israel. So in Exodus chapter 4 verse 10 it says, "And Moses said unto the Lord," this is after Moses had discovered the burning bush and he came to the burning bush and he discovered it was God. So he's talking to the Lord. "And Moses said unto the Lord, O my Lord, I am not eloquent." God had wanted him to go. He had not told him what he wanted him to do. He wanted him to go to Pharaoh. "And Moses said unto the Lord, O my Lord, I am not eloquent. Neither is to for nor since thou hast spoken to thy servant, but I am slow of speech and of a slow tongue. And the Lord said unto him, Who hath made man's mouth? Or who maketh the dumb, or death, or the seeing, or the blind? Have not I the Lord? Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say. And he said, O my Lord, send I pray thee by the hand of him whom thou wilt send. And the anger of the Lord was kindled against Moses. And he said, Is not Aaron the Levite thy brother? And I know that he can speak well. And also behold, he cometh forth to meet thee, and when he seeeth thee, he will be glad in his heart. And thou shalt speak unto him, and put words in his mouth. And I will be with thy mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what ye shall do. And he shall be thy spokesman unto the people. And he shall be, even he shall be to thee instead of a mouth, and thou shalt be to him instead of God." Now I'm not saying that Aaron is going to be God, or Moses is going to be God. God is telling Moses that Aaron will be your spokesperson. I'm going to tell you, Moses, I am going to guide your mouth, and you tell Aaron what to say, and Aaron will be your mouth. And I'm going to teach both of y'all what to say. Let me get back to my notes here. Sorry about that. There is so much going on here in these verses. There's a lot. I mean, we could go all kinds of directions. But right now, first study in the Word of Speech. There is so much going on here in these verses. But for now, we're looking at how God helped Moses to speak his words and have Godly speech. Maybe you have been wanting to tell others about how Christ died for our sins in order for us to be forgiven by our Heavenly Father, and have that peace that only forgiveness can bring. Having that peace, knowing that when it's time to be called home, we will spend eternity with our Creator. God will bless you with the words to say if you will let him. God didn't tell Moses to go and give eloquent speeches. God didn't tell Moses to go and do anything that could be done. God simply told Moses to go and he would be with him. All Moses had to do is have faith in God and believe in him. Let's look at the book of John chapter 8. And we're going to start reading in verse 31. There's quite a few verses here, but it's very important. These are the words of Jesus. We're going to see God tells Jesus what to say. And this is just really fascinating to me. You know, Jesus Christ never said nothing wrong. Never said nothing wrong. He couldn't. How could he have been a perfect Savior if he had ever said anything wrong? You know why Jesus didn't say nothing wrong? Because God guided his speech. God, it worked on the seed that right here. Let's look in. Let's see. A book of John. And I'm sorry I didn't get time to mark mine. Everybody else is marked with money. That's okay. I'm fine. John chapter 8. Bear with me here. This is just fascinating. John chapter 8. And we're going to start now in verse 31. Okay. Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him. If you continue in my word, then are you my disciples indeed? And you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free. They answered him. We be Abraham's seed and we were never in bondage to any man. How sayest thou you shall be made free? They didn't realize that they were born in the sin. They didn't realize that. Jesus answered them very, very. I say unto you, whosoever commiteth sin is the servant of sin. And the servant abideth not in the house forever, but the son abideth forever. If the son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. I know that you're Abraham's seed, but you seek to kill me because my word hath no place in you. Here he goes. Jesus says, I speak that which I have seen with my father. And ye do that which ye have seen with your father. They answered and said until Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, if ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham. But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God. This did not Abraham. Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, we be not born of fornication. We have one father, even God. Jesus said unto them, if God were your father, ye would love me. For I proceeded forth and came from God. Neither came I of myself, but he sent me. Now remember, God sent Moses. Why do ye not understand my speech? Even because ye cannot hear my word, ye are of your father, the devil, and the lust of your father, he will do. He was a murderer from the beginning and a bode not in the truth because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own, for he is a liar and the father of it. And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me? This is important right here. All of it is, but this is very important. He that is of God, heareth God's words. Ye therefore heareth them not because ye are not of God. These people back in verse 10 of Jude, that Jude is warning us about, hear not God's words because they know not God. Therefore they speak evil of those things which they know not, but what they know naturally. This word naturally means physically or instinctively. We are born with natural instincts. When we were babies and we got hungry, what did we do? We cried, didn't we? Yeah, we cried. That's an instinct. When that baby's hungry, it cries. When it wants a nap, it cries. That baby has instinct. We are born with natural instincts. Those are worldly instincts. By the way, I still do this from time to time when I get hungry. I complain about it until I get some groceries in my family anyway. But Jude says they speak evil of those things which they know not, but what they know naturally has brute beasts. The word brute means irrational or unreasonable. The word beast means a living thing, a life thing, an animal. When we are born, we are not born knowing that we are born into sin. When we are born, we are not born with the knowledge of how God created the heavens and the earth, and how He created mankind and gave mankind dominion over the earth, and how mankind gave that dominion away to the devil. We are not born knowing that. We are not born knowing these things, but mankind is born with natural instincts just like animals. Animals want to survive just like mankind does. They want to live. Although I've seen a bunch of animals that will run out in front of cars before, why do they run out in front of a car, boogie down a road at a high-range speed? Why do they do that? If you were to get out of the car and tell that animal that it would die if it got hit by the car, do you think it would listen? No. That animal is a brute beast. It is irrational. It is unreasonable. That animal, if it stopped and listened to you at all, would not pay you any mind and would just keep on running out in front of vehicles until it finally got hit and died. This is the way some people are, folks. They don't want to hear about God and how He sent His only begotten Son to die for their sins. They just want to keep living in their sins until they finally die in their sins, and they are separated from their Heavenly Father for eternity, and that is hell, folks. Amos 3, 3 says, "Can two walk together except they be agreed?" We are not born thinking the way God thinks. We are born into a sinful world with sinful thoughts as natural, brute beasts, but inside of every one of us there is a void, an open spot within us that can only be filled by our Heavenly Father. No matter how much stuff you try and put in that empty spot, it will never be filled. An open spot with us that can only be filled by our Heavenly Father. No matter how much stuff you try and put in that empty spot, it will never be filled, I know. For the majority of my life, I tried to fill that void that I didn't even know I had. Looking back now, I realized what I was doing. I was running from my Heavenly Father, and that void just seemed to get bigger and bigger, and I just kept putting so much more and more in it. It cost me so much. Sin costs more than you can pay. Sin costs more than you want to pay and keeps you longer than you want to stay. And if you don't seek forgiveness for inner sin, folks, you will die in your sins and be sentenced to an eternity of torment. The Bible calls this the second death. Repentance means to have a changing of the mind, to think differently. If you haven't filled that void inside of you, if you are still running away from the Lord, let's close. We're going to listen to Isaiah 55 6 through 9, and I have everybody else who should be marked. Isaiah, I want y'all to get your eyes on this one. Isaiah, you got it, John? John, you good? Isaiah 55 6 through 9, if you are still running from the Lord, Isaiah says, "Seek ye the Lord while he may be found. Call ye upon him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts, and let him return unto the Lord. And he will have mercy upon him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon." Folks, I don't care what you've done. It don't matter what you've done with your life. If you've wasted your whole entire life, like I basically almost did, I've made a lot of mistakes, but I want to tell you what, there is pardon through the cross of Christ. Amen. There is pardon through that cross. Amen. Jesus Christ went to that cross when he died for our sins. He died for my sins. He died for your sins. If there would have been any other way, why did God let his Son go to that cross and suffer that death? No other way, folks. Only one way, and that's through the cross of Christ. Are you forgiven for your sins? God will have mercy upon you, I promise you. As I am standing here today, you can be forgiven for anything that you have done. He will have mercy upon you, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. God says, Isaiah says, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts. Neither are your ways my way," saith the Lord. This goes back to the book of Jude, where Jude is talking about the men with the natural born beasts. He says, "They speak evil as one of those things which they know not, but what they know naturally as brute beasts. In those things they corrupt themselves. God's thoughts are not our thoughts. We are not born knowing God's thoughts. The only way we're going to learn God's thoughts is through this right here. This is how we get closer to the Lord. You get in God's Word. This is why I wanted to get a Bible in everybody's hand that wants one. So you can get your eyes on what God says. This is how you get closer to the Lord. It's right here through his Word. I'm Adam and I'm Beth. You need God's Word. "For my thoughts are not your thoughts. Neither are your ways my way," saith the Lord. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts." We're not born thinking like the Lord. There's only one way to start thinking like the Lord, and that's to get what the... read what the Lord says, folks. Heavenly Father, we're so thankful, Lord, for those who come, Lord, to hear your words, Lord. And I pray, Lord, that they leave here today, Lord, knowing more than they did when they came in, Father. Lord, we just thank you for each and every person who come, Lord, and we pray, Lord, that there's one here that doesn't know your Christ died for their sins, Lord, that there's forgiveness through the cross, Lord. We pray, Lord, that you would just draw onto that cross, Lord. Show them that Christ died for them, Lord. Open their eyes to salvation, Father. Lord, we just thank you so much for each and every thing that you do, Father, for all you do is good, Lord. We thank you for this day that you blessed us with to come together and gather in your name, Lord, and to hear your word, Lord, and to enjoy your word, Lord. What a blessing, Lord, for each and every person that come, Lord. They're such an encouragement, Father. We thank you for them, Lord. We pray, Lord, that your perfect will be done in each and every one of our lives, Lord, and we know that your perfect will is for everybody to know Christ died for their sins, Lord. Lord, we thank you, Lord, so much. We thank you so much for song leader today, Lord, and for those who just joined in singing, Lord. Be at a player, Lord, everybody that come, Lord. What a blessing, Lord. We thank you for the camaraderie, Lord, and just thank you for all that you do, Father, for all you do is good, Lord. In Jesus' name we pray today Lord, Amen.
