Good afternoon everybody. What a blessing it is to see each and every one of you here today. I can't tell you what an encouragement y'all are to listen to This poor old man here. I shall enjoy coming to seeing each and every one of you. I miss those who are out. And we come by to see Don A coward. Please speak Well we did and y'all was in the middle of something down there, so but I did come by Oh well that's good. And uh anyway, I try to get by to see each and every one of you, and uh when I come by a lot of times y'all are asleep, so don't think I don't come by visible because I do. With that said, we have been going verse by verse through the book of Jude, and we have made it all the way to verse 24. Where we will begin reading today. Jude says in verse 24, now unto him that is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding Joy. Let's pray. Heavenly Father, we thank you for each and every person, Lord, that's come to hear your word today, Father. Lord, we thank you for this lesson that you bless us with, Father. And we just pray, Lord, that you'll just teach us here today. Through your spirit, Lord. We pray that each and every year it'll be attentive, Father. Our minds will just be filled with your Spirit, Lord, just teach us your word today, Lord. We thank you and we love you so much, Father. In Jesus' name we pray you today, Lord. Amen. Pardon me. I'm going to read that verse again. And I want you to think about who this might be. Hello, Don, come on in. And I want you to think about who this might be when I read this now. Each and every one of y'all think about this when I read it Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy. Now, if you did not understand that verse twenty-four And I'm going to go ahead and read verse 25, too. To the only wise God, our Savior. Be glory and majesty, dominion and power both now and ever. Amen. If you do not understand, those two verses are describing our Savior, our Lord and Creator. There is a lack of understanding that God wants you to take care of and learn of him. If you did not understand those two verses are pointing towards Christ, towards our God, our Lord and Savior. If you did not understand You are lacking understanding, folks. Please get that resolved. Please. God wants you to take care of and learn of him. Jesus said in Matthew 11, 29. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and ye shall find rest Unto your souls. I can tell you for a fact, because I know. Without knowing Christ as your Satan, your soul is not at rest. And you will do everything you possibly can to try and calm it down. I know this for a fact. I have been there. I have done that. I know. Your soul is not at rest because you have not trusted in the only one who can give it rest. You need the knowledge of knowing Christ as your Savior. And that can only be found through understanding that you are a sinner. In need of forgiveness that can only be found through the death of Christ who died for your sins in order that you be forgiven. Isaiah 26, 3 says, Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stay on thee. Because he trusteth in thee. Trust ye in the Lord forever. For in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength. Isaiah 26, 8. Yea, in the way of thy judgments, O Lord, have we waited for thee. The desire of our soul is to thy name and to the remembrance of thee. How are you going to remember somebody that you do not know, folks? If you have never been introduced to Jesus, how are you going to remember him? Isaiah twenty-six nine with my soul Have I desired thee in the night? Yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early. For when thy judgments are in the earth, The inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness. It's just a matter of time before Christ comes back. And when he does, each and every person is going to know God's righteousness. They're going to learn And for those that don't know Jesus as their Savior, it will be too late. Isaiah 26, 12. Lord, that is capital L-O-R-D. Thou wilt ordain peace for us. For thou also hast wrought all our works in us. It is our Lord who draws us to the cross to show us Christ. Our salvation is of the Lord folks. Salvation means your rescue. John 6. 44 says, no man can come to me. This is Jesus speaking. No man can come to me. Except the Father which hath sent me, draw him. And I will raise him up at the last day. Folks, if you feel that little draw, that little tug, don't ignore that. Don't think for one minute that God is going to continue tugging and tugging and tugging and all the while you're going, no Lord, no Lord, no Lord. You keep fighting the Lord and eventually folks He's gonna turn you over to a reprobate mind. He is gonna let you go. You just want to, that's what you want to do Have at it. And that is a road you do not want to continue down because that road doesn't lead to the Lord's house. That road leads to the devil's house. That is not where you want to go. It is our Lord who draws us to the cross to show us our to show us Christ. No man can come to me except the Father which has sent me. Draw him and I will raise him up at the last day. James 4, 8, little A says. Draw nigh to God and He will draw nigh to you when you feel that little tug on your boat. Don't ignore it. You go draw nigh to God. You wrap your arms around the cross of Christ, and don't you ever let go of that. Don't let it go. Amen. God will draw nigh to you and he will show you Jesus Christ. I promise you he will. Psalms 27, 1, a psalm of David. The Lord is my light And my salvation. Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid? Folks, what does light do? Think. What does light do? It illuminates. Without this light in this room right now, without this light outside, where would we be? In the dark, would we? We'd be in the dark. If you do not know Jesus Christ as your Savior, guess where you are? You're in the dark. You're in the dark. God wants to turn the light on for you and He will. I promise you God will. He turned it on for me, and if He'll turn it on for me, He'll turn it on for you. Light illuminates so you can see things that you can't see in the dark The capital L-O-R-D is the only one who can flip the light switch on so that you can see where your rescue comes from. Psalm 37, 39, and there's so many psalms, folks, that talk about this. So many. But the salvation of the righteous is of the Lord. Capital L-O-R-D. Lord. Not in a set of steps. Not in that water baptism. It is in the Lord, folks. In the Lord. If it was in something else. I promise you, God will tell you. God wants to turn the light on of Jesus Christ in your mind. He wants you to see Christ hanging on that cross, dying for your sins. And if you want to know, he'll show you. He will show you. But the salvation of the righteous is of the Lord. He is their strength. In the time of trouble, when you're laying on that deathbed, folks. When you're laying there, you can't move. You're gonna shut your eyes for the last time. Now is that trouble? Is that time of trouble? It don't have to be if you know Jesus Christ as your Savior. But for those that don't know Jesus Christ as their Savior, that is your biggest Greatest time of trouble that you will ever have. Psalms 37, 40, and the Lord shall help them and deliver them. He shall deliver them from the wicked and save them because they trust in Him. Without faith, it is impossible to please him, the Bible says. If you do not trust in Christ as your Savior, You're not trusting in the only salvation. The salvation plan that God has given you to trust in. You're ignoring what God has given you. 625 Psalm says, my soul Wait thou only upon God, for my expectation is from him. If your expectation is in a false God, you will be let down in that day of trouble. You're going to be let down in the time of trouble. Psalm 62, 6 He only is my rock and my salvation. He is my defense I shall not be moved. What is that song? I shall not be, I shall not be moved. I shall not be, I shall not be moved, just like a tree planted by the water. I shall not be moved. That's right. Standing firm, that tree is planted. Firm, folks. Psalm 62, 7. In God is my salvation and my glory. Does it say anything else? In God is my salvation and my glory. Folks, if you're putting your faith in anything else but God, you're wrong. That's as nice as I can tell you. But your soul depends on that information. It depends. Where do you want to spend eternity? As I've told you before. You are a spirit. You have a body. Where do you want your spirit to go after you close your eyes for the last time? In God is my salvation and my glory. The rock of my strength and my refuge is in God. Trust in Him at all times. Ye people, pour out your heart before him. God is a refuge for us. See La. That means pause. Think about it. Think about what I just read in folks. If you do not know Christ as your Savior, please Ask God to show you. Ask him to show you. Pour out your heart to him. And I'm going to tell you that in my case That involves some tears. So don't let that stop you. Don't you be concerned with what others think. You be concerned with what our Lord thinks. Matthew 10, 28 says, and fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. But rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Don't you worry about shedding those tears. Don't worry about that. And don't you worry about what anybody else thinks about it. I stand up here a lot and I cry right in front of every one of you. I am just so overthankful, so joyful, so thank you, Lord. If y'all knew half of what I've done in my lifetime, y'all wouldn't be sitting anymore, talk to me. But praise God, he knows everything that I've done in my whole lifetime and he has forgiven me. And he still talks to me. Woo! Don't you worry about what people think about shedding tears, folks. A repenting heart is gonna have a tear with it. Amen. Mind does. Amen. Jude says, now unto him that is able to keep you from falling. Now after all those verses we just read and listened to. Who is that church? Jesus Christ, our Savior, our Creator. Jesus Christ, God's dear Son, who gave his life for each and every one of us. God in the flesh, speaking on the birth of God in the flesh, we read in the book of Matthew, chapter 1, verses 18 through 23. Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise. That means it's like this folks. When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. Pardon me. Now folks, I'm going to tell you right now, a lot of people can't get past that right there. They can't get past that You know why? Because they are of the world. They do not know the miraculous power of our Creator. They do not accept Jesus as their Savior. If you can get past anything, you can get past that. Faith in Christ will open your eyes to every bit of all of this. Every bit of it. God wants to teach you his word. He wants you to get closer to him through his word. Trust in the Lord thy God with all thy heart and leap not unto thine own understanding, folks. If you can get past that, You can get past all. Amen. Then Joseph, her husband, being a just man and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away quickly. He was gonna get rid of her privately. He didn't want all of them to know. Back in them days If you was pregnant without a husband, you were stolen. It was a death sentence for him. Joseph didn't want him to know. Joseph didn't want him to kill her. Joseph loved her so much. You want to talk about a man having some faith? Joseph had faith. He says, but while he thought on these things Do I get rid of her? Do I get rid of her? Do I keep her? Do I wear her? What do I do here? You know his mind's going all kinds of directions. But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David. Fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. Now you either believe that, folks, or you don't believe it. Brother Doug believes every word of it. Amen. Amen. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus. For he, speaking of Jesus, shall save his people from their sins. Amen. I can't express to you enough, folks, how it's faith in Christ that saves you. It's not your works. It's not your faith in something else. It's not the preacher putting his hand on you and praying for you. It's not going and sitting in some chemically induced water Jesus Christ, it's right here. I'm not making this up. He shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done that it might be fulfilled, which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet saying. Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is God with us. Christ, God, the Holy Spirit in the flesh. Amen. Three make one. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Three are one, folks. Godhead. The Godhead Christ is able to keep you from falling. When you're down on that deathbed, what are you going to be looking to, folks, to save you? Think about that. Sea law. Think about it. What are you going to be looking to to save you? It's all we've all got one thing in common. Each and every one of us. I don't care what kind of background you got I don't care what kind of education you got. I don't care what kind of bigwig you think you are. We all have one thing in common. This body that we're in is going to lay down someday. Every one of us. What are you going to be looking to in that day to save you? Pretty sure. Pretty sure. I have to say this and right into it uh presence that I am sliding out of this chair and I need to put my foot up here or I'm gonna fall. Could y'all help her get back up in the chair? I'm I ain't supposed to touch people. I mean she's right here. I'm afraid I'm gonna fall off No, I'm I'm in the chair, but um I'm my food is not holding the thing and I'm afraid it's gonna fall on I miss that for you. I mean the food. I mean you get up there. Oh, yeah. I'm sorry, that's Satan, now man. Now more faster of the gene case and turn it. Yes, that's part of the ocean, they don't want to do that. Yeah, I'm I don't know. I'm gonna sort of sorry. Me too. Thank you. Well, that is nice. That is safe. Sisters, we heard. Christ is able to keep you from falling. He is. He sure is They were able to keep you from following. Alright. We were talking about Christ keeping you from falling. She's about to slide out of the wheelchair over us. That's good. Alright. Used here the words not falling gives us the idea of not stumbling or without sin. And that is the only way our Lord is going to let you in his house upon your arrival after this fleshly body gives up the ghost. And that's if you're forgiven. If you are without sin. God does not want you in his house all covered in sin, cluttering up his house, folks. I don't even like it when the cat comes into our house, but 2 Corinthians 5. 1, for we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, and house not made with hands. eternal in the heavens. We're about done folks a little bit more here. For in this we groan earnestly, desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven. If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. For we that are in this tabernacle, talking about this fleshly body, do groan, being burdened. Not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon that mortality might be swallowed up of life. Now he that hath brought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit. What is the an earnest? When you put up money to go buy a house, say the camera lady wanted to go buy a new house. That realtor is going to ask for what? Earnest money. They want you to put some money up saying you're really interested. You want this. That's what God does when you put your faith in Christ, folks. He sends the Holy Spirit to dwell within you. God is saying, that's mine. That is my property. I want this. Jesus Christ paid for you with his blood. You belong to Christ now, folks, when you put your faith in Christ. Therefore, we are always confident knowing that whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord. For we walk by faith, not by sight. We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord. Once your spirit leaves this body, folks, you are absent from this body. You will be present with the Lord. Wherefore we labor that whether present or absent we may be accepted of Him. Amen For we must, here's the thing right here folks. Here's another thing we all have in common. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ that everyone may receive the things done in his body According to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. Now I'm going to tell you right now, you have a chance right now, if you do not know Christ, that you're saved. You have a chance to receive Christ as your Savior. Amen Why not receive him now before you're standing before him in judgment and haven't received him? It just doesn't seem so logical to me. According to that he had done whether it be good or bad. Now When we appear before the judgment seat of Christ to receive the things done in this body, are you going to appear by yourself? And receive the punishment for all your sins. Are you going to receive the punishment that you could have so easily avoided? If you would have just listened to the Lord. Amen. John 3. 36, as we start to close. He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life. Praise God. And he that believeth not the Son shall not see light. But the wrath of God abideth on him. Yes. All of the wrath that Jesus Christ took for your sins will be put on you because you refuse to believe. You refuse to believe. So that wrath will be put on you instead. Jude not only says that he is able to keep you from falling, but he also says to present you faultless. But for the presence of his glory with exceeding joy. Folks, there's no joy like salvation joy. Amen. I will say that So I don't say it no more. That's just fantastic saying. I don't know who said it. I heard somebody say it, and I believe that. Jesus said in Revelation 3. 5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment. And I will not Blot out his name out of the book of life. But I will confess his name before my father and before his angels. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit, that's a capital X, saith unto the churches. Folks, if you're here today and you don't know Jesus as you're saved, I pray that you will have an ear to hear. That you will pay attention to the verses that we just read. And I pray that each and every one of them pointed you to Christ. Yes. I want you to know Jesus as your Savior, but more than that, God wants you to know Jesus as your Savior. No matter how bad you think you've done, how much you've messed it all up. There is forgiveness through the cross of Christ for everything you've done. Don't be afraid to shed those tears and to see Seek God. Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, folks. Heavenly Father, we thank you so much, Lord, for each and every blessing that you bestow upon us, Father, and Jesus Christ was one of the best blessings that we have ever received. Thank you for your Holy Spirit and thank you for your precious word, Father. We thank you for this lesson that you blessed us with here today, Lord, and I pray, Father, that the people were pointed to you, Lord. I pray, Lord, that you use these verses to help open the eyes of the lost here today, Lord. And I pray, Lord, that you use these verses to edify the saints, Father. We thank you so much, Lord, for all you do, Lord. Thank you for each and every person that comes to hear your word, Father. Lord, we just pray that you'll bless each and every one of them, Lord. Thank you for Brother Ray and Brother Larry coming, Lord, and helping with the singing. And Lord, thank you for the camera lady coming, Father, and working the camera. We are so blessed, Lord, just to have fellowship here. to praise your name, Lord, and sharing your word, Father. We pray for the caregivers who are here, Lord. And we want to pray for each and every person. Just two just can't get out of their beds, Father. We pray for them, Lord. We pray, Lord, that you would just be with them. Let them know, Lord, that they're not alone, Lord. That you'll stay with us throughout all our lives, Father. We thank you and love you, Father. And we just pray your perfect will be done in each and every one of our lives here today, Lord. Help us stay the path you want us to be on. And we sure thank you, Lord, for each and every person you put in our life to encourage us. And we pray, Lord, that you'll work through us to be an encouragement to others. Father. Thank you so much, Lord, and we love you. And we ask these things in Jesus' name today, Lord. Amen.
