No, he's got one good. Where's the camera lady? Camera lady is not pickable. But she's watching But she watched. Says camera light units. 2 Timothy 3. 16. And what I have in mind is uh continue to pull out these really beautiful scriptures and uh Pardon is the easy easy to that. So Um this is not like uh uh uh really deep devotional in a scripture reading a real fine trend and all that. This is a give you something to talk about and think about. And uh you're gonna take it home. So you can do it all week long. That all scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. Very good. Amen. That is 2 Timothy 3. 16. Thank you, Brother Neil. All right Here's our verses our accompanying verses. There we go. I'm getting told that's pretty good there. So this is gonna be our accompanying verses for uh verse 24 and Jude for today So hope y'all got that. There we go. Give me one of them. I'll get this back. I need a chance to mark it. Yeah. You know, it amazes me how Once uh we put our faith in Christ, how our lives will change. And I can see not only Through my life has that been apparent, but through Brother Neil's as well. And uh to have him want to share God's word with others. It's just uh That's a good testimony right there, folks. Yes, it is. So that's just fantastic. Welcome to everybody. I'm so glad to see everybody and good people too to see y'all. Uh so if you haven't met me yet, my name's Doug Saxton and I'm the pastor here at this place. So uh we go verse by verse, we get into a book and we go verse by verse with that book until we Get out of that book and then we'll go to another book, God willing. We'll go verse by verse again until we get through with that one. So my notes start off and they say Good afternoon, everyone. Good afternoon. All right, great, good, good. Everyone. Now, last week we left off in the book of Jude in verse 24. As we have been working our way through the book of Jude, verse by verse, in verse 24 Sh of Jude, Jude says, Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy. Oh I love that folks. We're gonna get to that again. I love that Now, oh, let's pray. Heavenly Father, thank you so much, Lord, for this wonderful time that you've blessed us, Lord, to come together and in fellowship of your word, Father. We pray, Lord, that you just Let your spirit teach us here today, Father. Open our eyes and our ears and our minds to your word, Lord, and teach us, Lord. Teach us. Lord, we just thank you so much for all that you do, Lord. For all you do is good, Lord. And we thank you so much for Jesus and in his name, Lord. We pray amen. Alright, so last week we looked at the words from falling. Which gives us the idea of not stumbling or without sin. The one who is able to keep you from falling can also present you faultless. Let's look at verse 24 in the book of Jude again. And he says, now unto him that is able to keep you from falling and to presence of his glory with exceeding joy. Now, when we present something to someone, what are we doing? Yesterday, the camera lady and I went out to eat. And at the restaurant that we went to, there happened to be a gentleman there that works at the same place that I work. He came over to our table to tell me hello. Eddie. Now When he came over to the table to tell me hello, he introduced and he introduced himself. I introduced my wife to him Now I did not say Steve, this is my wife, the camera lady. I did not say that. He would have looked at me and laughed and probably said, well, okay, and went back to his table and sat down and ate. When Steve came over to our table, I introduced my wife by her name. I said, well, hello, Steve. This is my wife, Sheila. And then I said, Sheila, this is Steve. I introduced them to each other. And as I did this, I stayed with my wife. I stood by her. I did not pass a note over to Steve's table and run off somewhere while he read it. I remained with my wife while I presented her to Steve as my wife. Jesus Christ is able to present you before the Father, but he will not present you if you do not know him. The only way that I could present my wife to Steve is because I know both of them. How could I present my wife to somebody I do not know? I have to be introduced to them before I can introduce them to someone else. Jesus wants you to know him. God the Father wants you to know him. And I believe that is what God's word is all about. It's about knowing and believing in Christ. Matthew 7. 21 through 7. 23 says, Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven. But he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils, and in thy name done many wonderful works. Jesus says, and then will I profess unto them. I never knew you. Depart from me, ye that work iniquity. How can you be introduced as a child of God without knowing the one who will be doing an introduction? How can you be introduced as saved when you have not believed in the Savior? Amen. He is able to deliver thee. He is able to deliver thee. He is able to deliver thee Though by sin old breast go to him for rest, our God is able to deliver thee How does Jude say Christ is able to present you? Our verse says faultless. Faultless. This word comes from a Greek word that means unblemished. Without blame. Unblamable. When Steve came over to our table yesterday, I wanted him to Sheila. So that is how I introduced her to Steve. When you come before the Lord and you will, you must be introduced as unblamable. And the only way that you can be presented as unblameable or without blame is if you know and believe someone has already taken your blame in your place. Christ has done that for you and me. Colossians 119 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fullness dwell, and having made peace through the blood of his cross. By him to reconcile all things unto himself. By him I say whether they be things in earth or things in heaven. And you that were sometimes alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now have you reconciled. In the body of his flesh through death to present you holy and unblamable and unreprovable In his sight. Unblamable is exactly what it means. And unreprovable means unaccused or blameless. God loves you so much that He has given you a way to be forgiven of all your sins Not just the great big ones, not just the little itty bitty ones, but all of your sins. And only through the forgiveness of God shall you enter into the kingdom of heaven. And that forgiveness is given only through belief in God's dear son who gave his life for your life. Christ received your blame in order that you become unblamable and unreprotable. But you have to accept that through faith. Faith 1 Peter 3. 18. For Christ also has once suffered for sins. The just, that's Christ, for the unjust, that's you and I, folks. That he might bring us to God Being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit. Jesus said in John 14, 6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man cometh unto the Father but by me. Amen. If ye had known me, if ye had known me, this is Jesus talking, John 14, 7 Ye should have known my Father also. And from henceforth ye know him and have seen him. Amen. When you put your faith in Jesus Christ, folks, Jesus introduces you to God the Father. You now have an introduction to the Lord. Now, don't get me wrong. God already knows you. It's not like God doesn't know you or not. God already knows you, but does God know that? God knows everything. He knows everything. He knows exactly when you put your faith in Christ and He knows when you have it. God knows. But when you put your faith in Christ, gun deal. Jude says, now unto him that is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory. How? With exceeding joy. Oh, I love this. With exceeding joy Not just a little bit of joy, not just some joy, but exceeding joy. When I looked up this word, I couldn't help but smile and grin, folks, and I'm going to share that with you. The evening that I put my faith in the death of Christ for my sins. My wife and the man who pointed me to Christ. Who God used to lead me to Christ, we were walking out to our vehicles to go home And I could not help but to jump for joy and shout, woo, out in the parking lot. And that's exactly what I did. I jumped up in there and I said, woo-hoo! True story. That was the only way I could express the exceeding joy that had come over me. This is where it gets really cool right here. The idea given here from our words, exceeding joy. comes from our Greek word that means to jump for joy. To jump for joy. And that is exactly what I did. I did that before I even knew about this. I knew about Jesus Christ dying for my sins, and once I knew that, then I jumped for joy. Now I have read it in God's word. Wow, that is just fascinating to me. How the Holy Spirit starts working through you immediately. That's just fantastic. I thought that was pretty neat I wanted to share that. Now I jumped for joy knowing that I had been forgiven for all my sins. God showed me Jesus Christ dying on that cross for my sins. God showed me he loved me so much that he sent his only begotten Son to die on that cross for my sins. Jesus Christ gave his life for me. That is kind of sad, but it is so joyful at the same time. There was no other way. If there would have been some other way, don't you think God would have done something different? There was no other way I jump for joy knowing that I was dearly loved by my Creator. I jump for joy knowing that after I leave this fleshly body I will be in paradise. With a one who loves me more than anything in this world, this world can offer. What a savior, folks. What a savior. 1 Peter 1, 8 and 9. Who having not seen ye loved, in whom though now ye see him not, yet believing Ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. Faith in Christ, dear loved ones. Faith in Christ. Amazing grace. How sweet the sound. That saved a wretch like me. I once was lost, but now I'm fat. Woo! Now I just won't tell everybody about my Savior. Brother Neil wanted to share verses with people. It's just fantastic. What a great time, man. I love my Jesus. Heavenly Father, we thank you so much, Lord, for this lesson that you blessed us with to share with the folks here, Lord. And I pray, Lord, that I just pray, Lord, that you your word got out, Lord, and we pointed them to you, Father. We just want to point them to you. And to you be all the glory, Father. Just work to here, Lord, to glorify yourself, Father, to shine the light on Christ, Lord. We pray, Lord, there's one here that doesn't know Jesus as their Savior. Father, that they would seek you, Lord. They would seek you, Father. And they would want to know Jesus as their Savior, Lord. We pray that they, when they seek, Lord, you'll just draw them to the cross and show them Christ. Lord, we want to pray for those who couldn't make it today, Lord, because of health issues. Pray for those who are too sick to get out of bed, Father, and we just pray, Lord, that you'll be with them and let them know you're there, Lord. Father, we pray for the caregivers that are here, Father. We just pray, Lord, that you just work through them to care for each and every person that's here, Lord. Father, we just thank you so much for all you do, Lord. We thank you for those who come and help us, Lord. We thank you for Brother Larry coming. And his wife, Sherry, Lord, and Brother Ray, and all of them that helped, that come, Lord, to hear your word, Father. There's such an encouragement to me, Lord. And Lord, we thank you for those who you put in our lives to encourage us, Father. And I pray, Lord, that you'll just work through us to encourage others, Lord. We thank you so much, Lord. We love you, Lord. In Jesus' name, Father, we pray today, Lord, amen.
