Well, hello, everybody. Howdy. Howdy. Ha ha ha. Howdy, brother Doug. Howdy, brother Doug. Hello, Don. Afternoon, Don. How are you? Doing good. All right. Everybody remember Miss Priscilla, please. I was just informing her. She's a very important person in the community. She just went on to be with the Lord too. I want to tell you, she was a big encouragement to me when I first started coming here. Very sweet lady. She grabbed ahold of me when I first started coming. I don't know, about the third or fourth time I came. She grabbed ahold of me, and she looked me right square, in the eyes and she said, "Don't you stop doing what you're doing." Wow. All right, Miss Priscilla. And that was, I believe, to be honest with you, I believe that was God working through her. Because there have been several instances when I just wanted to throw in that old towel. Miss Priscilla told me, and she's not the only one, I've been encouraged by several people here not to give up. And until you get up there and start doing it, you don't know the struggles that go on while you're trying to share God's word with others. And there's a lot of things that try to get in the way of doing that. But it's such a blessing to have y'all here today, and y'all are an encouragement to me to continue to do this. And it's just a blessing to see each and every one of you. So with that said, thank you Brother Larry for at least saying that. Today we got Camera Lady Junior here, she's filling in for Camera Lady Senior. Camera Lady Senior's out today. So before I get going, we're going to get this taken care of and out of the way. Alright, she's saying that's pretty good right there. Now I'm going to share with y'all online, everybody here right now, that when I'm sitting out in the car looking over my notes and stuff. Sometimes God will bless me with more verses and I was telling Brother Larry and Sister Sherry, sometimes I have just as good a fellowship if not better sitting out in that car right there looking over my notes as to when I'm sitting at home studying and doing it. So folks, it don't matter where you are, you can always have fellowship with the Lord. Don't ever forget that. And sometimes I'll sit out there, woo, I just get all excited. Thank you, Lord, thank you for showing me that. I wanna share it with everybody. You know, I wanna share the stuff that God shares with me. I wanna share it with you, and I want you to understand so much. So, with that said, let's jump on in here and start sharing God's word. So, today's title of the message is Ungodly Ghosts. Ungodly Ghost is our title for today. I love it when God blesses me with a title. I just say that that tickles me. So we're gonna be in the book of Jude. And we should have you there. Let me get Miss Becky over here there. - Okay. - Jude. - I think Brother Doug. - Yes, ma'am. - Says hi. - Hi, camera lady. Let me help Donna get there. Hi, Donna. I'm gonna play you a book of Jude starting out. - What book are we gonna be in in Jude? - Jude, verse 14, and we're gonna touch on 15 a little bit there, Bill. (mumbling) We're gonna read 14 and just touch on it again in 15, and while I'm here, John, we're gonna go ahead, I mean, Don, we'll go ahead and put you here. I believe it was Matthew, what is that, Sister Sherry? - Matt, 25, 31, 46. - 25? - Yeah. - I'm gonna go ahead and mark him while I'm here so he's got it. Matt, you, 25. So we're gonna probably start 31 and 31. We're gonna start here at 31 and then you'll be flipping the page over, okay? - Mm-hmm. - Okay. - All right, I thought you said the wrong one over there, but that's all right. - Good. (laughing) We're gonna be in the book of Jude to start with. (laughing) Okay, here we go. Everybody ready? Good. Good afternoon, everyone. I said afternoon this time. Ah-ha. We'll be in the book of Jude this afternoon starting in verse 14, where Jude writes. And we're gonna touch on the beginning of 15 right there. I wanna include this with what we're gonna be talking about today. and inoculate all the us here today, Lord, and that every year we'll be attended here today. And all the distractions will just be removed from this room, Father, so we can learn your words and focus on your word. Lord, just teach us here today, Father. We thank you and love you so much, Lord. In Jesus' name I pray, amen. - Amen. - All right, so last week we discussed the word "behold," which means to fix the eyes upon, to see with attention. And we mention that used here the word Lord with a capital L and small letters O-R-D means supreme in authority. If you have never fixed your eyes on the cross of our Lord in faith, hanging on that cross for your sin debt. Not his. God's word says that just for the unjust. Okay, here we go. I lost my track of thought there. If you have never fixed your eyes on the cross of our Lord in faith, hanging on that cross for your sin debt, not his. God's word says the just for the unjust. I want to encourage you this afternoon to do so. Behold the Lord, folks. Behold the Lord. And we catch this door that follows you too. Okay. All right. Behold the Lord, folks, behold the Lord dying for all your sins so you can be forgiven. Behold the Lord before you run out of time to do so. Jude writes, behold the Lord cometh with 10,000 of his saints. Look at your verse, folks, look at the verse. Whose saints? His saints. Behold the, let's see, behold the Lord before you. The word saints, look at your verse, his saints. The word saints used here comes from the Greek word hagios, hagios, spelled H-A-G-I-O-S in the Greek language sacred, morally blameless. This Greek word is derived from the word "Hagnos" which means clean, innocent, perfect. Myle Webster's dictionary defines the word "saint" as a person sanctified, a holy or godly person. The word sanctified means to separate or set apart. When our Lord returns, He will separate the godly from the ungodly. He is going to separate those who believed in Him and those who didn't. Please understand that there is a difference between godly and ungodly, and only the godly, the ones who confess Christ as their Savior will spend eternity with Him. Matthew 10, 32, 33 says, "Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven." So let's read about the separation. Let's turn to the book of Matthew and read chapter 25, verses 31 through 46. You should have that on your mark. Alright, Donna's got it. Matthew 25, 31 through 46. Matthew 25, 31 says... You got it, Ms. Becky? Yeah. Matthew 25. Yes sir, Matthew 25. We are going to start reading in verse 31. Alright, "When the Son of man shall come in His glory." Now remember our verse back in Jude says he's going to come back to judge with all his saints, right? With ten thousands of his saints. Not all his saints, he might have more than that, but he gives us a number, ten thousands of his saints. "When the Son of Man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory. And before him shall be gathered all nations. That's everyone. All nations. And he shall separate them one from another. As a shepherd divided his sheep from the goats. There's a difference between sheep and goats, isn't there folks? difference between godly and ungodly. Whose sheep? Christ says His sheep. The ungodly are those who do not believe that Christ died for them. Therefore they do not know Christ as their Savior, not having Him as their shepherd, and not being in His flock. John 10, 26 says, "But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. And I give unto them," Jesus' sheep, "eternal life, and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck him out of my hand." Back in Matthew 25 verse 33, "And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left hand, separating them." There's a division there between the goats and sheep. There's a division between the godly and the ungodly. "Then shall the king say unto them on his right hand," and y'all remember who's on the right hand? The sheep, that's us, the godly. The ones who believe in Christ are the sheep, they are the godly. "Then shall the king say unto them on his right hand, "Come ye blessed of my father, "inherit the kingdom prepared for you "and from the foundation of the world." God knows who is going to believe Him and God knows who is not going to believe Him. For those on the right hand, those who believe, your kingdom is already prepared and waiting for you. Jesus said in John 14, 1-4, "Let not your heart be troubled, ye believe in God." Praise God! Believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions. If it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and He's coming again folks, I will come again and receive you unto myself, "Where I am there yet ye be also, and whither I go ye know, and the way ye know." The ungodly refuse to believe, therefore they don't know because they refuse to know. That's why they don't know, they refuse to know. Jesus went on to say in John 14, 6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man cometh unto the Father but by me." The ungodly refuse to hear the truth. Therefore they don't know the way and they will not receive life but the second death where they will suffer for an eternity in the place prepared for them. God has a place prepared for his saints, and God has a place prepared for the ungodly as well. There's going to be separation between the goats and the sheep. The sheep go on into the flock of God. The ungodly, the goats, go away from God into their designated area. which is going to be a torment forever and ever. Matthew 25, 35. Back in Matthew 25, verse 35. Jesus goes on and says, "For I was and hungered, and ye gave me meat. I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink. I was a stranger, and ye took me in. Naked and ye clothed me. I was sick, and ye visited me. I was in prison, and ye came unto me." These are all the things that Christ has done for me, by the way, and He'll do it for you, too. You're hungry? Jesus is the bread of life. You're thirsty? Jesus will give you drink. You're a stranger? Jesus will take you in, folks. These are all the things that Jesus has done for me. Naked and He clothed me. I was sick and He visited me. I was in prison and He came unto me. If you don't know Christ as your Savior, folks, you are in a prison. You are a slave to bondage. Christ will set you free from that. I promise you. I promise you. Matthew 25, 37, as we continue in Matthew. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee and hungered and fed thee, or thirsty and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger and took thee in, or naked and clothed thee? And when saw we thee sick or in prison and came unto thee? "And the king shall answer and say unto them, 'Verily,'" that means truly, folks, "'verily I say unto you, inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.'" Can anybody tell me what the key words are here in this verse? "My brethren," The two words that are key here are "my brethren." The sacred, morally blameless, clean, innocent, perfect, sanctified, set apart from the world saints, Christ's brethren. That is Christ's brethren, folks. That is who Jude has been writing to throughout this whole deal. My brethren. Then shall, back in Matthew 25 verse 41, then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, now he's addressing the ghosts, the unbelievers, depart from me ye cursed into everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels. This is the place prepared for the unbelievers, folks, the ungodly ghosts. For I was a hunger and you gave me no meat. I was thirsty and you gave me no drink. I was a stranger and you took me not in, naked, and you clothed me not, sick and in prison, and you visited me not. Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee in hunger or thirst, or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to thee? "Then shall he answer them saying, 'Verily I say unto you, inasmuch as he did it not to one of the least of these, he did it not to me.'" No mention of those two key words here. No mention of "my brethren." Why? Because the ungodly goats chose to ignore the call of the voice of the Lord when it came time to be gathered into the sheepfold. The ungodly goats chose to stay ungodly goats and continue in the ungodly ways of this ungodly sinful world instead of believing in the Savior and becoming a new creature. a sheep of our Lord and Savior. Second Corinthians 5.17 says, therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature. All things are passed away. Behold, all things are become new. In Christ, folks, we shed those old goat skins and put on the sheep skins. I can't help but think of that verse, I can't help but think back into Genesis when God shed the innocent animals and took the skins of those innocent animals, maybe sheep, and he clothed them in the skins of those innocent animals. God clothed them in new skins. We shed the old goat skins, the ungodly goat skin is shed and God puts the new sheep skins on us. Only God can do that. Second Corinthians 5.18, "And all things are of God who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation, to wit that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them, and and had committed unto us the word of reconciliation. The word reconciled means to change mutually. No longer an ungodly goat, but a sheep of the Lord, folks, changed mutually. You see, without believing Christ died for your sins, you are not forgiven, and you are calling God a liar. You must agree with God now while you have time or you will not be walking with the Lord when the time comes for you to be judged. Amos 3 says that two walk together except they be agreed. Folks, God's not going to walk with you if you don't agree with him. If you're calling him a liar, okay, I'm a liar, bye. Enjoy your time. There is a place set for people who don't agree with God. The ungodly goats are going to be where the ungodly goats go. The sheep are going to go where the sheep go. Agree with our Lord while you still have time. continue to be an ungodly goat or you will suffer the consequences for eternity. Folks, that's forever and there's no second chance. You can't be in front of the Lord and not believe him and say, "Well, I'll change my mind now, Lord." No, it don't work that way. It don't work that way. God has given you the time now to confess Jesus Christ and to When you're kneeling in front of him, it's too late. It's too late. We're going to close with our last verse here in Matthew 25, 46. Talking about the ungodly ghosts. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment. On the flip side of that coin for the sheep. But the righteous into life eternal. Woo! That's where Brother Doe is going to go. I want to go be with my Lord into life eternal. And I hope you do too folks. And it's through Jesus Christ that you can obtain life eternal. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man cometh unto the Father, how but by me." And that's right. Heavenly Father, we thank you Lord for this lesson so much. What a blessing Lord. And we sure pray Lord that we would point them to you today Lord. And we just pray Lord that the saints were edified here today Lord and that the law was reported to you Father. We pray that you are glorified here Lord and we sure thank you for each and every person that comes Lord to hear your word. They are such an encouragement Father and I pray Lord that you let them know that they are an encouragement. Just be with them Lord. Let them know we are not alone Father. We sure thank you Lord and we want to pray for you. We want to thank you Lord for your love. Lord, for the time we had with Miss Priscilla, Father, and with John, and with Mr. Baylor, and Miss Bay, Father, all those who have come here, Lord, to hear your word taught and are no longer with us, Father, Lord, but with you, Lord. We just thank you for them, Lord, for those who come, Lord, to hear your word. We pray, Lord, that the caregivers here will care for these folks, Lord, the way you want to be cared for, Father. We pray for those with upcoming surgeries. We pray for those who are in healing mode right now. And we just pray you will be done in those matters. And we thank you and we love you, Lord. We just thank you so much for Jesus and for your spirit, Father. Thank you for the Holy Spirit. In Jesus' name we pray, Lord, amen.
