I look really forward to it. And I'm excited if you can't change it. I'm excited about it. With all that said, good afternoon, everyone. Good afternoon. Last week we stopped our Bible study in the book of Judah, verse 20. Where Jude says, but ye loved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith. Praying in the Holy Ghost. Let's pray. Heavenly Father, thank you so much, Lord, for this time that you bless us with to come together, Lord. And just have fellowship in your word, Father. And we pray, Lord, that you will just teach us here today, Father. Just teach us your word, Father. We sure thank you for those who come to hear it, Lord, and we pray that the saints are edified here today, Lord, and that the lost are pointing to you, Father. We just pray that you would just glorify yourself here today through the reading of your word, the teaching here today, Lord. We thank you and we sure thank you so much for the fellowship here, Lord. In Jesus' name we pray, Lord. Amen. Alright. So in the previous verses That we have covered. Now remember we've been going verse by verse by verse by verse in the book of Jude. Jude has been telling us some traits of mockers. or false teachers who walk after their own ungodly lusts. Why? Verse 19 says, because they separate themselves from the Spirit of our Lord. That is their choice to make. They choose to remain sensual. They are just living their lives chasing after things that they can't keep. Breathing the air that God gives us through the lungs that God gives us to keep us alive and never giving God the credit. But instead using those lungs and that air to speak things about our Lord that are untrue and pointing people from the truth. Proverbs 12, 17 says, He that speaketh truth showeth forth righteousness, but a false witness deceit. You can take this with you folks. A false teacher is looking out for themselves. not you, because they are seeking gain in this world and not the world to come. Through the prophet Isaiah, the Lord spoke about the leaders who were supposed to be protecting Israel from false teachers. In Isaiah 56, 9, he says, All ye beasts of the field come to devour. Yea, all ye beasts in the forest. His watchmen are blind, speaking of Israel. The watchmen are blind. They're ignoring what's going on. They're not seeing what's going on. They are all ignorant. They are all dumb dogs. They cannot bark. Sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber. Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough. And they are shepherds that cannot understand. Back when I was a younger man, my wife and I, we inherited a little pub dog from one of our loved ones. When they died, mother-in-law couldn't take care of this dog. So we inherited that dog. It says hey, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough. This pug dog When they adopted this poke dog, I believe they found that dog, didn't they? They found the dog wander in the streets and it was malnourished. It did not I it you could tell it hadn't eaten in a while. It was malnourished. her. So when we inherited that dog, we had another, we had two or three other dogs I think at the time. Yeah we had the the big girls. This dog It was so greedy with the food after it eaten all its food it would go over and scoot other dogs out of the way and then get their food too. It couldn't get enough of those groceries. It just kept eating and eating and eating. I have to take and move the punk dog away from the other dogs so the other dogs could eat. That's the what they what it God is saying to the watchmen, the ones that are supposed to be watching over the flock here, the shepherds. They're supposed to be watching for false doctrine that's coming out He says they are greedy dogs which can never have enough. They are not looking to the sh the flock. They are looking to their own things. They are shepherds that cannot understand. Why? Because they have not the Spirit of God. They all look to their own way, everyone for his gain from his quarter. Luke 9, 25 says, for what is a man advantage? If he gained the whole world and lose himself or be cast away. In verse 20, Jude is turning the attention of his letter back to the saved. Those who have chosen to be joined with the Lord by accepting the truth that Christ died for their sins and receiving the Holy Spirit of God. Jude says, but ye loved. Or some people might say beloved. Beloved. Last week we discussed the word ye. And we learn that the word ye is personal, meaning you or yourselves. The word beloved means dearly or well beloved. You are one of the beloved of God when you acknowledge God's truth. 3 John 1. 11 says, beloved. Follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God, but he that doeth evil hath not seen God The words hath not seen means without clear discernment or perception, not taking heed. The word he means to mind or to regard with care, to take notice of. The beloved of God are those who choose to regard what God says as the truth. They choose to look to God and not to remain stiff-necked. But the wicked choose to remain in their sin and ignore what God says. 2 Chronicles 30 verse 8 says, now be ye not stiff-necked. as your fathers were, but yield yourselves unto the Lord and enter into his sanctuary. Which he has sanctified forever, and serve the Lord your God, that the fierceness of his wrath may turn away from you. Psalms 10, 4. The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God. God is not in all his thoughts. Psalms 10, 5 through 6. His ways are always grievous. Thy judgments are far above out of his sight. As for all his enemies, he puffeth at them. He has said in his heart, I shall not be moved, for I shall never be in his mercy. That is foolish thinking. And that is wicked in the sight of the Lord. Now let me ask you this. If false teachers do not know Christ as their Savior What are they teaching others? Yeah. What are they teaching others? They are teaching deceit. And that is not what the beloved of God teaches. Amen. Proverbs 12, 5. The thoughts of the righteous are right, but the counsels of the wicked are deceit. Proverbs 15, 26. The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the Lord. But the words of the pure are pleasant words. The word pure gives us the idea of clean or uncontaminated, morally innocent. The only way to become pure in God's sight is by believing that Christ died for your sins, folks. Agreeing with God that he so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son for you. Isaiah 1. 16 says, Wash you, make you clean, put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes. Cease to do evil. Learn to do well. Seek judgment. Relieve the oppressed. Judge the fatherless. Plead for the widow. Come now and let us reason together, saith the Lord, though your sins be as scarlet. They shall be as white as snow. Though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land. But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the Sword. The sword. If ye refuse and rebel and rebel, stiff neck. You shall be devoured with the sword, for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it. God spoke it. I believe it. Do you believe the words of the Lord or not? I do. I believe that God's word is truth and I believe there is forgiveness. For those who believe that Christ died in order to purchase their forgiveness. Amen. I am forgiven by the shed blood of Christ, and all those who believe are beloved of God the Father. All those who refuse to believe God are calling him a liar. And I would not want to be in their shoes. When they are being judged by the one who they are calling a liar. Can you imagine standing before the judge? You're a liar, judge. You're telling the one that's going to judge you that you're a liar. Wow. A holy and righteous judge is not a liar. Amen. 1 John 5. 10 says, He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself. He that believeth not God. hath made him a liar, because he believeth not the record that God gave of his son. 1 John 2, 22 through 23. Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is Antichrist that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father. But he that acknowledges the Son hath the Father also beloved of God. If you are here today or watching this online, and maybe you're not sure if you are one of the beloved of God. God wants you to know that you are loved. Did God love these false teachers? You bet he did. God loved them. They were not beloved, oh God. But they were loved. If you don't think God didn't love them, ask Jesus Christ. He'll show you how much he loved them. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever Those false teachers are whosoever. Whosoever. Whosoever faults. Yes. That goes for you. That goes for me. That goes for the drunkard. Whoever. Whosoever. The drug addict. You name it. They're covered. Amen. But it's for by grace are you saved through faith. He that believeth on him is not condemned But he that believeth not is what? Condemn already. Why? Because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. I'll preach that until I can't preach it no more. That is what I believe God loves you so much that he gave his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, for you. And he wants you to believe him. There is nothing Nothing that you have done that cannot be forgiven if you are seeking forgiveness, dear friend. If you want to be forgiven. You can be. You can be. Amen. God is bigger and more powerful than all your sins put together. And he will forgive you if you will seek him. Let's close today with Isaiah 55, 6 through 8. Isaiah 55, 6 through 8. Let's get you there right quick, let's make you all run out of time out there. Isaiah. Let's see. Oh yeah, good number. I'd say they're when I say I'd say uh 55 I'd say 55 Fifty five, six three. Isaiah 55, 6 through 8. I apologize for not having a little sticky cad. I was out there looking over my lesson and I got Isaiah 55, 6 through 8. Isaiah 55, 6 through 8. Okay, so uh God is bigger and more powerful than all your sins put together, and he will forgive you if you will seek him. Amen. Isaiah 55, 6 through 8. Seek ye the Lord while he may be found. Call ye upon him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts. Folks, I want to tell you something. You put your faith in Jesus Christ. Them thoughts is gonna change. I'm not saying you won't never have a bad thought again, but I'm gonna tell you once you do, you're gonna have to change it to something else. The Holy Spirit helps guide our thoughts, and I'm a true believer in that. Amen He said, let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts, and let him return unto the Lord. That's a capital L-O-R-D. That's the Lord God Jehovah. And he will have mercy upon him. And to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. You're not gonna get no more than abundantly, folks. Abundantly is plenty. For my thoughts are your not thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. What is it? Philippians 14, 6, I believe. But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory. How? By Christ Jesus. Christ Jesus abundantly pardoned, folks, your faith in the death of Jesus Christ on the cross for your sins. Abundantly pardoned. Amen. Heavenly Father, we thank you so much, Lord, for this time that you bless us with here today. Lord, we thank you for all those who have come, Lord, to hear your word talk. We pray, Lord, that the saints were edified, Lord, and that the lost were pointed to you, Lord. Yes, Lord. Thank you for Jesus. Thank you for your Holy Spirit. And thank you for your precious word, Lord, that you bless us with. Yes, Lord. Father, I pray for those who don't open their Bibles and read them, Lord. I pray, Lord, that they would seek you, Father, and that they would open your word and read it, Lord. And I pray that you would just draw them to the cross and show them Christ, Father. Lord, we thank you so much, Lord, for another day that you bless us with, Father. And Lord, we know there's coming a time, Lord, when. There'll be no more days here on this old earth, Lord. But there's coming a new heaven and a new earth, Lord, where we'll have days for eternity with you, Father. And we thank you, Lord, and we love you so much, Father. We want to pray for those who are too sick to get out of the beds, Lord, to come here, Lord, to hear your word, Father. We pray, Lord, for the caregivers that are here, Father. And we just pray, Lord, that they would take care of these folks, Lord, the way you want them to be taken care of, Lord. Lord, we thank you for Brother Larry and Sister Sherry coming, Lord, and song leading, Lord. And we just pray for the upcoming Lord Christmas teachings here, Lord, on the 21st, Father. We pray, Lord, that You'll just send the ones that you want to come, Father. Amen. That that day will just be a joyous, wonderful fellowship day in your name, Father. And that everyone is pointed to you that day, Lord. Thank you for Jesus, Lord. And in his name, Lord, we pray. Amen.
